Davina from Sheep & Stitch has been at it again! This time she designed a cowl for Canadian Living using KPC’s chunky Novomerino in wicker. The pattern is free (yeah!) and also includes a video tutorial for those still learning how to knit.
The cowl has a honey stitch pattern which is a stitch that I haven’t used before but am very keen to try. It makes a nicely, textured cowl that looks thick and doubly warm, not to mention the beautiful pattern it creates. It is perfect for any age - whether you are a teen or a stylish mom.
The pattern is available here and make sure to watch the video beforehand which demonstrates how to do a provisional cast on as well as instructions on how to knit the honey stitch. Davina’s video is very clear, easy to understand and filmed in such a way that you can follow along with your own needles and yarn. Foolproof really!
This cowl will be the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe. I know I will be knitting one, ready for chilly mornings.
Happy knitting!
